A healthy intestinal flora is particularly important for a strong immune system. The intestine is the largest immune organ. The majority of all antibodies are produced in the gut. A healthy intestinal flora therefore contributes significantly to an intact immune system. In stressful situations, after the administration of antibiotics or a worming treatment, the intestinal flora of dogs can become seriously out of balance and the body's own defences can be weakened. ICEPAW Intestinal ProBio contains the valuable lactic acid bacterium Enterococcus faecium. It can increase the concentration of beneficial intestinal bacteria and thus strengthen the digestive tract and the immune system and restore intestinal balance.
The gut reacts sensitively to nutrients, but also to stress. Stress prepares the body for flight or attack and causes the blood vessels to contract. The muscles are therefore preferentially supplied with blood and the digestive tract is automatically less well supplied with blood. The immune defence can be impaired by the reduced supply of oxygen and nutrients to the intestinal cells. A change in diet is often not enough if the intestines become unbalanced. Intestinal ProBio is a probiotic dietary supplement and supports the build-up of intestinal flora through a targeted supply of lactic acid bacteria in order to restore the intestinal flora to an optimum balance.
